We are Frank and Cathy, and we’ve traded our stationary life for a house on wheels. This blog is where we share the unfiltered realities, breathtaking sights, and valuable lessons we’ve learned while living full-time in our RV, affectionately called “Georgie.” we also have a 1997 VW Euro campervan, “Go Westy,” named “Baby Bones.” She is for those short “I don’t know where to go next” trips.
The Beginning
It all started as a “research” road trip to see what type of recreational vehicle we could get into, if we were looking.
Georgie
Well, we came across this beauty. A 2018 Forest River Georgetown 35-foot bus of an RV.
The floor plan and all the features, like 3 TVs, a flush toilet, a water heater, man, this was the life kinda feel, really got our interest, so the urge and call of the open road got the best of us, and we jumped on it.
After a second viewing and a long test drive on city and highways, we made an offer!
The offer was accepted.
After some pre-delivery stuff, we picked her up.
On the drive home we debated on what we should name her.
we decided to be corny and just go with “Georgie “.
