she may not be pretty but she is certainly ready as a workhorse

Baby Bones is intended for those trips that Georgie (The big Georgetown unit) can't go on.
We have had her looked over by the mechanics and any issues have been taken care of.
Baby Bones will be taking us on a couple of trips we have already planned.
Some extra room and research is needed before we hit the road
Our first long trip is planned for Coal Harbour
Located on Vancouver Island approximately 5 hours north of Nanaimo BC Canada.
We are scheduled to do a house/pet sit through an organization called Trustedhousesitters.com over the past 2-3 months we have had wonderful experiences doing these sits and as a bonus they are international, so we can travel anywhere in the world doing this.
Next, we will Journey from Nanaimo, BC to Haida Gwaii
our campervan trip from Nanaimo, BC to the mystical Haida Gwaii will be an unforgettable adventure brimming with natural beauty, cultural heritage, and a true sense of exploration.
our journey will start by heading north on the Trans-Canada Highway and crossing to the mainland via the BC Ferries terminal in Horseshoe Bay. Continue along Highway 1 and turn onto Highway 97 we will stop at Hell's Gate in the Fraser Canyon for a thrilling suspension bridge walk. Camp at Stampede Campground, conveniently located in town with essential amenities and Explore Williams Lake's vibrant downtown and its local shops.
Traveling further north along Highway 97, we will then merge onto Highway 16 (Yellowhead Highway) towards Smithers, a charming mountain town. We may Stay at Riverside Municipal RV Park, offering a peaceful riverside setting and proximity to town. we may visit the Museum of the Cariboo Chilcotin for a glimpse into the region's cowboy culture or explore Bulkley Valley's trails or take a stroll through Smithers' Alpine-themed downtown.
Continuing west along Highway 16 to Prince Rupert, the gateway to Haida Gwaii. we will check into the Prince Rupert RV Campground, a well-equipped stopover before our ferry ride to Haida Gwaii
We board the ferry to Haida Gwaii early in the morning and take in the stunning views of the Hecate Strait during the crossing. Once we arrive, we will settle in at Bunkhouse Campground Resort in Skidegate.
